First ever Desjardins Pointe-Claire half-marathon – a great success!
The first ever half-marathon in Pointe-Claire benefiting the Alzeimer‘s Society of Montreal took place on June 18. More than 2,200 runners took part in the marathon with courses varying in length from 1 k for the children, up to 21 k making it ideal for the whole family to participate. Fresh fruits and juices, a massage tent for the athletes, race bibs and kits were all provided to participants.
It‘s great success will hopefully ensure a yearly repetition of the event.
